Dental Treatment in Istanbul for International Patients

    Batu Dent (Özel Batu Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği) welcomes patients from abroad at our clinic in Bahçelievler, Istanbul. Our clinic is licensed by the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate (Licence No: 985) and holds the International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye (Certificate No: ST-1259). Our founding dentist and responsible manager, Dentist Adnan Batu, has been practising dentistry since 1983.

    How it works

    1. Send us your X-ray. Send a recent panoramic X-ray or CT scan and a few photos of your teeth via WhatsApp (+90 546 555 60 99) or e-mail (batuglobaldent@gmail.com). If you do not have an X-ray, simply describe your complaint.
    2. Your case is reviewed by a dentist. Our dentist reviews your images and tells you which treatment options may be suitable for you.
    3. You receive a preliminary treatment plan. We explain the planned treatment, the expected number of visits and the approximate duration of your stay. The final plan is confirmed after your clinical examination in Istanbul.
    4. Plan your visit to Istanbul. On request, we help arrange your airport transfer and hotel accommodation.
    5. Treatment at our clinic. Your treatment starts after an examination and the necessary imaging at our clinic.
    6. Follow-up. Some treatments, such as dental implants, need a second visit after a healing period. We stay in contact with you between visits.

    How long will I stay?

    The length of your stay depends on your treatment. As a general guide:

    • Dental implants: usually two visits. The implants are placed during the first visit; the permanent crowns or bridges are fitted on the second visit, typically after a healing period of a few months.
    • Zirconia crowns and veneers: usually completed in one visit of about one week.
    • Fillings, root canal treatment and teeth whitening: usually a few days.

    Your dentist will confirm the exact schedule for your case after your examination.

    Airport transfer and hotel

    On request, we help arrange your transfer from the airport and a hotel close to our clinic. Please let us know your travel dates when you contact us.

    Can I get a treatment plan before travelling?
    Yes. After reviewing your X-ray and photos, our dentist prepares a preliminary plan. Because a diagnosis requires a clinical examination, the final plan is confirmed at our clinic.

    Which implant brands do you use?
    Your dentist will explain the implant system recommended for your case and the reasons for the choice during your consultation.

    How do I pay?
    Treatment costs are explained in your treatment plan. Please ask us about the payment options available.
